Assignment Responsibilities

Volunteers support the horticulture team by caring for plants at the greenhouse as well as planting, weeding, watering plants, and mulching around the property.

Time Commitments

Available Shifts: March-November, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 12 pm. 

Volunteers should be available to establish and commit to two shifts each month on a recurring schedule.

Training

On the job training is provided.

Age Requirement

Minimum age requirement is 16 years old.

Volunteers provide routine daily care for injured, sick, and orphaned native wildlife until they are ready for release back into the wild.

Volunteers facilitate play at Kidzone, a nature-based play area geared toward guests ages 3-10 years old. Kidzone is a place where children and their parents can play, explore, and interact with nature in a fun, safe environment.
